Guided Hiking at Sheep Mountain Lodge

Inquire about our guided hiking trips when making a reservation.  We offer easy walks to challenging hikes.  Minimum age is 6, no maximum age.  Child rates are $20 off the listed rate.  Hikes depart by reservation at 9am.  Bring water, jacket and snacks. Hikes are offered June 15 - Sept. 1 

 

2-hour Wildflower Walk: minimum 2 guests, maximum 10 guests - $49 per person.  Group discount for 8 or more.  1-2 mile stroll on the area trails with natural history interpretation.  

 

Half-Day Hike:  2-3 hours of moderate hill climbing for spectacular mountain views.  We'll stop by local interpretative signs to better understand the volcanic origins of Sheep Mountain.  $59 per person

 

Challenging Hike:  4-5 hours of hiking on local trails and mountain-side.  Some areas of no trail as we find our way up Sheep Mountain.  A sense of adventure is necessary, bring your camera for great valley views.  $79 per person.  Sack-lunch provided.

 

All hikes are led by naturalist  Anjanette Steer, an avid outdoor enthusiast who specializes in wildlflower identification.
