Our lodge is located a short 12 miles from access to the Matanuska Glacier. You can spend a few hours exploring the glacier or take a guided hike to see the glacier's wondrous features.  Guided glacier hiking gets you out on the ice, for a unique Alaska experience.  We recommend MICA Guides for glacier hiking or ice-climbing, no experience is necessary.
