Daily restaurant hours – 7:30a – 10pm. Please come in before 9pm to order dinner. The lodge closes at 10pm. Reservations are not necessary, but if you have a group of 7 of more, please call ahead.

Menu & Dinner Specials

The lodge restaurant is open daily during the summer season and features fresh Alaska seafood, steaks and homemade desserts. Fresh-baked cinnamon rolls, cookies, strawberry-rhubarb pie and sourdough bread, are our specialties. Our full-service bar features Alaskan Brewing Co. beers from Juneau, a variety of foreign beers, and selection of domestic wines.

Our lunch menu includes: Mountain Burgers (Chili, Bacon, Cheese or Plain), Chicken Quesadillas, Homemade soup of the day, Chicken and Vegetarian burritos, Halibut tacos, Garden Salad and Reindeer Sausage sandwich. Prices range from $7.00-9.50 per item. Call ahead and we’ll have your to-go order waiting.

Our dinner menu includes: Fresh baked Alaska salmon and halibut; New York strip steak, Herb-roasted half-chicken and our signature Grilled Salmon Salad, served on a bed of fresh organic salad greens. Prices range from $20-28. Dinner prices include choice of soup/salad, and homemade bread.

Monday – Pesto Pasta with Smoked salmon/grilled chicken;

Tuesday – Homemade Italian Sausage Lasagna;

Wednesday – Fresh Alaska Salmon - Chef's preparation - outstanding dinner;

Thursday – Fresh Halibut - Chef's preparation - delicate and delicious!;

Friday – Prince William Sound Side-striped shrimp - Chef's preparation;

Saturday – Prime Rib - Petite or Full cut;

Sunday – Pork Tenderloin - Chef's preparation.

Homemade desserts are our speciality. Here's a sampling of what we offer: strawberry rhubarb pie, blueberry pie, peanut butter pie, triple berry crisp, chocolate chip and oatmeal raisen cookies, and glacier cookies. All baked goods are made from scratch right here at Sheep Mountain.

Special Events and Banquets

Sheep Mountain Lodge is an excellent location for weddings, family reunions, corporate retreats, small conferences and seminars. In addition to its natural beauty, the Sheep Mountain area features excellent outdoor recreation opportunities such as hiking, rafting, birding, cross-country skiing, and snowmobile trailhead access. We will work closely with you to make your event a success. Sheep Mountain Lodge can provide:

Location:

Main lodge (restaurant and bar), multi-purpose room, deck, greenhouse and outdoor grounds. Sheep Mountain Lodge lounge shall remain open to the public during normal business hours. We have found that 50 guests is the upper limit for a comfortable indoor daytime gathering. Our multi-purpose banquet room can be rented for $50 per hour and maximum $400 per day. Use of the banquet room is free with rental of 11 cabins.

Accommodations:

11 Private cabins with bed space for up to 35 guests, additional bunkhouse space for 10-12.

Catering:

Full food, beverage (liquor) and baking services. Hors-d’ouevres, buffet style or sit-down options available. There is a 36 person maximum for sit-down meals in our banquet room.

As no two events will be the same, our charge to provide services to your group will vary depending on the activities you wish to plan.
